In early 1991, I was diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia, a rare speech disorder. I wasn't able to have voice communication as a salesman and being a truck driver was just the right medicine. Throughout my career with FedEx I was able to maintain a part-time career in sales. My heart was never in being a truck driver but I am forever grateful to FedEx for the opportunity they granted me.
