Successfully lead a team of designers in developing the installation design and integration of fuel system components and transport elements into the Bombardier Global 7000/8000 wing.Developed an Excel spreadsheet to efficiently track the usable, un-usable, and un-drainable wing fuel volumes through several different structural Global wing configurations to provide management with monthly fuel volume change reports.Effectively lead the installation and detail design build packages for Fuel, Hydraulic, & Flight Control brackets for the Cessna Columbus Wing Program. Duties included scheduling, tracking, and managing Build Package status throughout engineering release process. Responsible for the installation design and build package scheduling for the fuel and hydraulics within fuselage sections 47 & 48 for the Boeing 787 program. Directed the installation and design of the low pressure ECS lav/Galley Vent System and Aft Crown Electrical Equipment installation within section 47 for the 787 Program. Both duties required tracking and managing Build Package status through engineering release.Lead Design engineer on the JSF Propulsion Technology Demonstration program, directing the successful detail design, using Unigraphics design tools for a high temperature Organic Matrix Composite Augmentor exhaust duct for Pratt & Whitney Inc. Provided detailed sub-system design expertise within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) on a Proprietary Boeing Program, producing Unigraphic based 3D solid models to support design build teams.Past duties included maintaining fuel system integration and technical coordination with fuel component suppliers to meet Gulfstream’s GV fuel system performance requirements. Including coordinating with the FAA / DER representatives to ensure GV fuel system compliance to FAR part 25 requirements. I prepared fuel system design analysis reports including vent performance, refueling surge pressure, and lightning strike safety.
Tasks included system schematic development, component arrangement, trade study efforts, and contract proposal preparation for the Lockheed - Boeing Team bid for the NAVY AFX CE&D Contract.
