As the Head of the Ranger service I directly manage 8 Patrol Rangers, 1 Maintenance Ranger, 1 Service analyst, 1 office administrator, 1 Graffiti operative and 1 Part time Friends of liaison Officer, I am responsible for staff recruitment, disciplinary, training, annual Appraisals, sickness, holidays and shift rotas.The services under my management is responsible for all Parks Playgrounds and open Spaces, Allotments, Abandoned vehicles, Friends of groups, Patrolling and day to day operational functions Of the Countryside sites, Maintenance of all Public Realm furniture including street name plates, Parking restriction notices, Bins, Benches, all Council Signs, notice Boards, entry Boards, posts, Bollards, Fencing and Gates, Health and Safety of the Service and its responsibilities, Budgets ofor the service in excess of 1 Million Pounds, capital projects, safety inspections and reporting for all aspects of the service, locking of Parks and pavilions, facilitating Sports Bookings and Borough events, out of Hours call out Bronz level Majour insident Officer and assisting the Cleansing and Grounds Maintenance Supervisors
