Represented Lee & Amtzis, LLP law firm clients and principals of Leewood Real Estate Group, its affiliated real estate development company, in all aspects of sophisticated real estate acquisition, financing and development work; areas of practice included, drafting of condominium, cooperative, and homeowners association offering plans, construction loan and permanent loan financing with large commercial lenders, complex large-scale closings, commercial leasing, tax-free exchanges, tax planning, real estate tax certiorari, environmental law, and zoning; worked extensively with governmental and quasi-governmental agencies, such as, New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and New York City Economic Development Corporation, in all aspects of residential and commercial development, including, Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and tax abatement programs.
