• Sourced, interviewed and bought on new suppliers to replace existing suppliers with a history of late deliveries and quality issues, and manage down the costs of production.
• Introduced new systems and procedures to raise the efficiency of the Purchasing department
• Read and used technical drawings to design production processes and structures
• Maximised savings by actively re-assessing existing suppliers and replacing where appropriate
• Produced purchasing schedules in response to customer requirements
• Produced schedules and cash flow forecasts for builds in volumes 3 times bigger than previously experienced by the company
