Gary Evans is the Global Lead of a Technical Pre-sales and Consulting Team, providing expert services for customers and partners in relation to PostgreSQL and FUJITSU Enterprise Postgres.Gary has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry in a variety of technical and senior management roles. His technical background is in C/C++ development and while based in London worked at IBM and Cable and Wireless. Gary also worked for the Inland Revenue Department of New Zealand, before joining Fujitsu to write an XML class library for the Object-Oriented Database Jasmine. This project sparked an interest in the data industry and initiated his move to working with databases. Gary is also an experienced IT executive with a proven track record of driving data strategy and partnering with key partners to meet the business needs required by clients today.
