At DV Electronics I started in just mechanical assembly. I quickly moved throughout the plant with my skill set to machine shop. Electrical panel building and integration. I then got moved to a project that was to be set for mass production. On this machine I had to do a bunch of engineering to make it production worthy. For example redo and make wire harnesses to ease assembly. As well as change mechanical assemblies to better suit functionality and assembly. To date we have produced over 300 of these machines ramping up to 15000. I am now involved in cost reduction and prototyping to the next generation of this machine. This involves meeting and talking to suppliers and potential suppliers.I also on a personal level am involved in antique preservation organization. This organization called The Georgian Bay Steam Show has been around for 54 years. I have been the President of this organization for three years where I with the help of the board of directors manage all areas of the show. In three years have taken the show from the red to the black and promote new ideas brought by the 450 person membership.
