My role and responsibilities as FCO / Client Rep on Beryl Bravo involves the below. Ensuring all Construction & Vendor project works are coordinated daily. Ensuring all tasks are completed safely & that all contract companies adhere to Apache HSE procedures. Responsible for all project & repair order campaign work being completed on time or ahead of schedule & within allocated budgets. Detailed daily & weekly progress reporting to onshore Client Management. Review of project work packs prior to Construction works commencing. Call off materials & liaise with onshore materials Controller, organising manning levels and bedding on the offshore assets. Submitting & close out of Engineering Queries when required and sign off Construction & Commissioning Handover Packs (CCHP’s).

Beatrice Alpha Platform

Started on Beatrice Alpha in July 2009 on the survey stage of HSE FM. Duties include allocation of tradesmen to workfronts in accordance with scheduled priorities.Start of shift tool box talks / completion of timesheets / completion of daily reports / completion of end of trip handover. Ensuring a safe system of work is effectively applied and followed.Raising permits requests in line with scheduled activities, and carry out risk assessments.Identify materials, tools required and resource shortages & control of plant and equipment.Attend offshore planning / coordination and permit meetings.Completion of inspection test records, certification as builts and handover paperwork.Reporting of accidents / incidents in line with company policy & procedures.

Forties Field

I started in January 2000 working as a Pipe Fitter as part of the flying squad around the Forties Field, completing projects and repair orders as required by client, I was made up to Working Foreman after 18 months and was looking after a small squad on Alpha to start the Gas Ring Main project which entailed working to workpacks / isometrics and job-cards associated with the relevant tasks.Then in 2004 I was made up to Focal Point on Alpha which enabled me to take on the role ensuring all Permits / Timesheets / Job-cards / and Progress reporting etc were correct on a Daily Basis prior to forwarding on to the onshore team. The main projects during this time were SOLAR Turbines / K-58 Gas Compressor & Various Wells being changed to ESPs.I an also a mediator between the Work Force and the Onshore Recruitment Team / HR Department for any queries and problems which the guys have.
