I started with Empire Today as the General Manager of the Detroit facility in 2002. By 2005 the Detroit Regional Distribution Center serviced Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Grand Rapids and I was the Midwest Regional Manager. Empire had a tremendous growth pattern and by 2007 I was promoted to a Regional Vice President supervising the operations for the Detroit and Chicago regional Distribution Centers and their satellite facilities. In 2008 New York, Boston and South hackensack were added to my region. As of April 2013 I am supervising operations for 14 physical facilites that service an additional 13 major cities remotely. Empire Today is a fast paced, thrilling company to work for. They appreciate the value of all their associates, their sales representatives, their installation contractors and most importantly their customers.In November of 2013 I was fortunate enough to be given additional markets and responsibilities. I currently am the RVP for 21 physical facilities that serve an additional 21 major cities remotely.

I was recruited to be the C.O.O. of Carpet Max of Toledo and be the lead in purchasing the assets of 20 previous New York Carpet World stores including New York Carpet's proprietary IBM AIX computer system and getting these stores in place and back up and running again. We reestablished all the support departments includiong H.R., Benefits, Payroll, Order Entry, Accounting, Installations and Customer Service.

I supervised the Clyde's Carpet Division of New York Carpet World after Shaw sold their retail stores and until Carpet Max filed bankruptcy. Clyde's carpet was a thirteen store division of New York Carpet World and was one of the few retail divisions that was profitable right to the end.

I started at New York Carpet World as a sales representative and went from an assistant store manager, to a store manager progressing in volume through three different stores and then to a Regional Supervisor. I was there through the transition when Shaw Industries purchased New York Carpet World and when Shaw Industries sold all their retail stores to Carpet Max.
