Lead and managed a team of developers and designers working on a variety of technology related software products for Devisd (a tech startup incubator funded by parent company Bentley Capital Limited, ASX:BEL)My role involved overseeing digital marketing practices including; search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing automation, pay per click (PPC) campaigns, social media account management and strategic influencer relationships.When wearing my IT/software engineering hat, I assisted the team in solving technical problems, based on my 20 years of experience writing code, as well as setting up work processes, software, and IT infrastructure (hardware) throughout the business.Devisd projects included:• Social Stream - Planned and developed an iOS social media application that aggregates Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Allowing users to interact with their accounts by posting to and reading from all platforms within the one app.• Yurn.it - Developed and managed a $300,000 fashion aggregation website that crawled and scraped the web for new products hourly. Adding product SKUs and updating pricing/item availability autonomously.• Tree Trauma - Created an iOS skill based game developed for children aged between 6 and 14 years, consisting of 30 unique levels of entertainment, developing young gamers' reactions, precision, memory and multitasking skills.• Advertise World/UberCPM - Managed and grew two banner/display advertising network businesses based on a cost per impression (CPM) model, going head to head with industry giants such as Google (AdWords/AdSense).• Boating Buddies/Mates Minder - Supervised development of two GPS location tracking apps that offer two distinct groups of users the ability to communicate and track phone location for safety/social convenience.• rdrct.it - Improved a Software as a Service (SaaS) product made to assist developers promote their iOS/Android/Win Phone apps.
