CurrentDesigned, procured, installed and currently manage the complete information technology infrastructure for a multi-million-dollar capital management firm headed by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Manage an Active Directory environment which includes Windows Servers, On-Premise Exchange Servers, MS SQL servers, Cisco ASA 5515-X NGFW's, Cisco 500GX series switches, VLAN’s, Hyper-V environments, redundant telecommunications circuits, Windows workstations and all handheld devices (IOS). Performed Active Directory upgrades from AD 2003 to 2012 and AD 2012 to 2016. Provide end-user support for all hardware and Microsoft Office desktop programs. Manage VoIP solution for local network in both Washington DC and New York offices. Migrated company from aging Avaya 5500 Media Gateway PBX telephony system to Cloud-based VoIP system integrated with on-site Active Directory / Exchange server and mobile capabilities for remote workers. Designed and implemented an encrypted, secured VPN solution for remote offices and workers using Site-to-Site and clientless SSL VPN solutions. Coordinated the relocation of the entire network infrastructure to include telecommunications vendor management, intellectual data preservation and restoration, and efforts to minimize downtime. Implemented new hardware, software and policies to comply with Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations and best practices for cybersecurity. Tested and evaluated several different hardware and software solutions. Implemented a fully redundant Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plan using a hybrid Cloud based solution, on-site hot backup servers, and third-party vendor management. DR plan was fully implemented during the pandemic without issues. Manage and coordinate IT vendor contracts to ensure all Terms of Service Agreements during the Service Commitment period are met. Recently performed a complete migration from on premise data and Exchange servers to cloud environment.
