Sole Mechanical Engineer hired by hospital CEO owner to develop a physical therapy device. As sole engineer with no other personnel staff, I designed and developed a working prototype with unique design features that became part of the patent submitted for the CEO owner. Used Solidworks 2018 and 2016 for 3D design, layouts and creating drawings for part manufacturing in development of the prototype. Patent document was signed by me in May of 2018 and my design is patent pending. The design was ready for production model development, then UL and regulatory testing, but funding issues led to a program halt.
