While being in charge of Readiness for my unit at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Georgia I learned how effective detailed communication needs to be between on and off base agencies so the war fighter arrives at their worldwide deployed location with ALL required items. Working with detailed classified readiness reports over classified networks I quickly realized how huge accountability in readiness really was. Especially when classified reports were being reviewed by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. In my Human Resource career in the United States Air Force I have worked at least 12 or more HR functions, they include: Many components of Readiness, Certified Goverment Passport Agent (I have submitted hundreds for State Department processing). Performance Evaluations Management, Employee Relations and Adverse Actions, Worker's Compensation, benefits programs, Government insurance guidance and enrollment, onboarding orientations (presentations to several hundred service members). Retirement or separation informational presentations and exit interviews, new assignment orders processing (detail oriented), creating reenlistment or extension contracts, military leave program, ID card issuance for entitled service member benefits and computer equipment custodian. All HR functions that I have worked I have had to interface with a military database network. If I don't know an HR function I will quickly learn it.
