Whilst i was a serving police officer my responsibilities included , mentoring of new recruits to police posts,Acting Sergeant duties either at local level or policing major events, co-coordinating specialist tasking teams in both uniformed and plain clothes roles, emergency response driving of police vehicles including PSU carriers, inter force liaison officer with other Home Office forces, Search officer covering all aspects of search from crime to counter terrorism and Royal Search's,Taser officer, DVI officer ( part of UK register for deployment to major incidents ) assist SOCO officers to forensically remove deceased bodies or body parts from crime scenes, compliant with all force training around officer safety, track safety, first aid and the supervision of large sporting events and other public orientated events. First responder to critical incidents on the rail network, CID attachment to fatality investigation team dealing with Coroners office and bereaved families and preparing files for Coroners office.

Posted to BAOR quickly gaining knowledge and skills of Infantry practices within a mechagnised role and then being tasked as a section 2IC at a very early stage. Serving in following countries, Germany , Holland, Denmark, Colchester, Jamaica Falkland Islands and Gibralter Engaged in numerous exchanges with other services to assist with training and leadership, this included 101st Airborne US Army and Jamaican defense force. Numerous courses undertaken and passed during this period of service. On leaving the regular forces with an exemplary record, i then joined the TAVR Royal Green Jackets 4th Battalion being promoted to section commander and assisting recruit training often taking on the role of Platoon Sergeant leading to a very productive recruitment of territorial soldiers from within the square mile of London to the unit and always maintain the highest of standards set by the Regiment.
