Having established himself as a working actor, with dozens of film and television credits to his resume, such as Six Feet Under, Big Love, Grey’s Anatomy, The West Wing, Sneakers, and the original series and Showtime reboot of Twin Peaks, Gary has worked with dozens of major talents such as Robert Redford, Naomi Watts, David Lynch, Tom Hanks, Sydney Poitier, Tom Berenger, Peter Falk, and many others. Gary is an award-winning and produced screenwriter. AWARDS: Top Ten Feature Finalist, Final Draft Big Break Screenplay Awards (Danger, Inc); PAGE International Screenwriting Award for Third Place for Best Television Comedy (Rancho Calypso); PAGE Top Ten Finalist for Best Television Drama (The Guardians). He co-founded The Actor's Director Workshop with Sheryl Lee (Twin Peaks), www.theactorsdirectorworkshop.com, to help guide directors to work better with their actors, and to help shepherd them into performances at the highest level. They teach privately and at USC's School of Cinematic Arts and Pepperdine University, and Gary teaches two directing courses for the School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount University.
