Arius was a national supplier for home and business security parts which signed a 3 year contract with ADT to be the primary supplier for all non-stocking items. This agreement landed me inside ADT's Memphis DC working along side their customer service teams and the DC manager. My job was to help support any ADT branch within the US looking for non-stocking parts within our locations that were strategically aligned for most of ADT's major metropolitan locations. We also had the ability to drop ship orders directly from all these manufacturers to expedite these items as needed or requested. All orders between the two facilities was entered by me as well as support them with any questions, delivery updates, etc.

My first job out of HS which started in the warehouse receiving department checking in vendor shipments. We handled materials like ball bearings, seals, belts, sprockets, couplings, gears, motors, etc for a variety of different manufacturers While working in the warehouse I held a variety of positions from stock puller for weekly replenishment orders coming from approximately 60 branches in the Southwest locations. The last stop in the warehouse was daily order puller for emergency orders for all 350+ branches while doing this job I also worked after hours and weekend emergency calls. From the warehouse I was promoted to inventory planner for approximately 10-12 different product lines. The inventory planner ran reports for inventory usages/turnover to determine how much needed to be kept on the floor as well as checking for back ordered products that are needing to be ordered. The inventory planner met with their vendor representatives to learn about the latest products, prices increases, back ordered products, and additional vendor training in many cases to better help the branches we served out of our Memphis DC.
