We're going to market with the Swim Club Connect app - a full-stack swim meet management and timing solution built from the ground up with Flutter and Firebase. It's a radical reimagining of how a swim meet works that uses the latest tech to ease the burden on swim club volunteers and engage parents and swimmers. We kept costs down by not using any special hardware, just your phone, so even the smallest clubs can afford it. The app is elegant and simple. The opposite of everything else out there.Some of the other great people/domain experts I've teamed up with:• Out of university I founded Xyris Software in New York City with school friend and financial maths wiz Richard Adams. We built XyrisOption, a real-time pricing tool for option specialists. Sold worldwide by Reuters. Major users: New York option trading desks at Goldman Sachs & Merrill Lynch.• After XyrisOption I worked for hedge fund manager Tom Sandell and head trader Rick Ecklord. We developed real-time trading and analytical software that helped Sandell Asset Management become a leading international merger arbitrage fund.• Prior to Swim Club Connect I worked with Chester Goodsell, nutrition domain, and built Easy Diet Diary: at the time, the most popular Australian calorie counter and diet tracker app.
