The early years of my career was mainly using VB6/Access and Foxpro to create and maintain retail systems. After this I worked on more retail systems this time using Ingres/OpenRoad. After being made redundant from this (after 5 years) I started contracting. I worked for several large companies, Barclays and the British and Irish Inland revenue services (spent 8 months living in Dublin). Initially this was updating Ingress OpenRoad but in 2002 when .Net was officially launched I took a course in C# and that has since been my focus. My last role was primarily in manufacturing, particularly aerospace.More recently I have added Angular2 to my skillset.
