• Serve as the Lead and Project Owner for the initiatives included in the European VCP• Provide oversight of large acquisitions and associated integration plans/efforts in the UK & Europe including developing cross-functional specific action plans and ensure achievement of identified synergies. • Provide hands-on execution leadership of strategic initiatives, either through personal project management or the leadership of key partners and service providers• Provide root cause analysis of VCP initiatives behind schedule and intervene where needed; ensure systematic follow up by accountable team members and instigate necessary countermeasures are executed when off target/plan• Identify and execute lean events and projects within the European locations• Support the annual scorecard process for European locations and define KPIs with the executive team • Work with the global quality team and operations on the corporate quality management system, ensuring compliance and certification at all times• Help ensure financial impact of initiatives are carefully tracked, measured and aligned within the European VCP

• Establish teams, in consultation with other parts of the organisation, to ensure the efficient delivery of projects (either real or virtual)• Responsible for the efficient running of the teams by setting project objectives and working within a matrix management environment.• Formulate and update project plans and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project.• Review and monitor progress against the project plan to ensure outputs are delivered to time and quality specifications• Estimate project costs as required.
