Responsibilities include but not limited to:-Manage Accounting department for Milwaukee, WI ( consisting of a manufacturing plant and the main Distribution Warehouse for the US) and Urbana, IL (consisting of a manufacturing plant). -Submission of monthly/quarterly results for locations listed above; as well as, for local operations in St Louis, MO to corporate home offices in Darmstadt, Germany.-Review and analyze financial statements for locations to determine any abnormalities.-Assist internal/external auditors and home office with any questions or concerns regarding financial statements, department operations, or other issues.

Perform all accounting functions within a tight schedule to effectively manage the month end close activities and the financial statements' review and analytical process of the Southern Iowa/Kansas operations which consist of eight locations and various business segments.Serve as the main contact between finance and field operations with focus of driving results, keeping managers informed of their financial targets, and recommendations when possible.Preparation of budgeting, budget vs. actual analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning for assigned areas.Capital Purchasing processing; adherence to budget, purchase order processing, CIP and payment reconciliations.Visit locations, perform and reconcile semi annual physical inventory of equipment verifying fixed asset listings.Audit the semi-annual parts physical inventory counts for all locations, verify perpetual inventory balances and special order parts, and reconcile to computerized inventory system.Periodically perform required SOX testing and analysis for sites.Point of contact on all internal and external audits for sites.
