The Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA) hosts over 80 conferences and seminars across the Asia Pacific Region focusing on the latest trends and developments in the syndicated loan market. As Director of Events and Event Sponsorship it is my role to ensure association members informational needs are being served through a wide range of large scale events. Working with the Chairmen of various committees of the association I work to put together quality market facing events ranging from country level market events in China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Korea & the Philippines to events focused on various sectors of the syndicated loan market such as leveraged finance, project finance, secondary loan market, agency and a number of legal and regulatory events. It is also my role to ensure that costs of the events are covered by sponsors drawn from both the banking and legal sectors in the region. In the ten years I have been with the APLMA , the size and scope of our events and their prominence in the market has grown as a rapid pace and attendee numbers have quadrupled.
