• Utilize existing GE CT protocols to maintain image quality with reduced radiation exposure consistent with ALARA.• Perform all radiographic procedures as needed utilizing GE DR System• Maintain electronic medical records in EPIC Radiant RIS and Fuji Synapse PACS.• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on GE R/F equipment.• Communicate with facility Radiologists to incorporate emerging technologies and standards of care into current policies.

• Mentor technologists on operational protocols, regulatory compliance, and enhancing patient care for multiple modalities at multiple sites including CT, DR, CR, fluoroscopy, and DXA.• Train new employees on operation and procedures of examinations and documentation.• Travel to sister facilities to assist with applications for new equipment installations and work with facility radiologists to integrate desired protocols.• Enhance existing Philips CT protocols to reduce radiation exposure consistent with ALARA and increase image quality. • Perform radiographic procedures on GE R/F equipment utilizing Carestream CR system.• Initiate ACR Fluoroscopy and CT quality assurance and quality control procedures.• Communicate with facility Radiologists to incorporate emerging technologies and standards of care into current policies.• Update and maintain Emergency cart and procedures to ACR standards.• Design pediatric CT Scan and radiography protocols in accordance with ACR standards.• Implement weight-based iodine contrast dose protocols.• Design protocols for cardiac scoring, virtual colonoscopy, CT enterography, and dental imaging. • Maintain image database on Carestream Vue PACS.• Ensure accurate billing with current knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes.

Radiographic procedures including DEXA as requested by referring providers. Maintain required patient records. General IT maintenance related to PACS and CR in the office.

• Interim Chief Technologist to cover for medical leave.• Establish and maintain excellent patient, physician, and interdepartmental relationships, providing imaging expertise and consultation on a regular basis to enhance quality patient care best practices.• General network and IT experience to solve issues involving PACS, HL7, DICOM, and RIS/HIS interface and general Windows server administration and maintenance.• Problem solving to locate connectivity issues with in-house modalities, PACS workstations, and connections outside of facility and corporate network.• Design training for physician, technologists, and other hospital staff as required and ensured documentation complied with department requirements. • Utilize existing GE 64 Slice CT protocols to maintain image quality with reduced radiation exposure consistent with ALARA• Apply experience with Imaging Department procedures to all hospital staff to ensure delivery of quality patient care.• Extensive expertise on MS Office applications as well as general proficiency with Windows and Macintosh platforms.

Perform CT Scan and Radiographic procedures as requested by referring providers. Maintain patient files. Utilize teleradiology system to transmit studies after hours to on-call radiologist.

Faculty for Radiologic Technology program. Present assigned subject material per established course curriculum. Provide guidance and expertise to students in the classroom, laboratories and clinical facilities.
