I am an enthusiastic and creative Facilities General Manager who is committed to providing exceptional customer experience whilst achieving organisational goals. I take a forensic and personal approach to customer service through effective relationships with customers and stakeholders as well as my keen eye for detail. I am an exceptional budget and people manager who maintains effective control of resources within a culture of continuous improvement.I have managed a multi-site service providing safe and enjoyable activities to two million visitors per year. Through doubling income by increasing the customer base to 50,000 regular customers and 12,000 gym members, and significantly reducing costs I have halved the operating budget whilst increasing customer satisfaction. I have led significant change programmes; opening 6 new / redeveloped leisure facilities, managing staffing reviews, introducing on-line interactions and introducing customer journey programmes.I have a particular focus upon the management of health and safety particularly within the service sector and have experience of managing a range of services including leisure facilities, sports & health development, countryside management as well as a community farm. I have managed a number of capital projects including being the client lead for a £36m capital investment programme into six leisure facilities.I am an early riser who operates with a sense of humour but keeps focussed upon achieving agreed targets.
