Lead, manage and monitor the successful delivery of comprehensive programmes to deliver social and economic value for Manchester. A particular focus will be to support North Manchester residents to access opportunities across a number of key projects. Working closely with GMCA, key stakeholders, contractors, training providers, supply chain and others such as voluntary and community sector organisations to ensure opportunities are created, developed and accessible.

My role is to ensure the development of policies and programmes that raise employment levels and improve the performance of business in Manchester. I work closely with partners and their activity to ensure the City's economic regeneration goals are maintained. Support businesses to improve their offer and provide advice on support available to assist them to thrive in Manchester.

As the Associate Director for Walking With The Wounded and my responsibilities include developing high level relationships in the North West in local government, military and corporate sectors. Overall strategic and operational management of the delivery out of the Manchester Hub and the team. I oversee the delivery of the Individual Placement Support Team based within the NHS Military Veterans Service. One of my key priorities is to create essential strategic pathways and partnerships to enable access to employment, education, employment, housing, mental health, welfare and any other identified routes. As the senior lead, I have also been acting as a change agent as a number of public sector organisations who did not quite understand the world of ex-military and their families.Partnerships are something that is key to achieving all of the outcomes, best practice and delivery and it is essential to work in collaboration with the community and partners. I have become a key stakeholder with key providers such as Working Well, Be Well, The Department of Work and Pensions, local Universities and many more to develop and inform of programmes, which supports WWTW’s delivery of a vision and a long-term strategy.

I manage a couple of projects one currently being a new initiative of the Manchester Employer Suite, which is a partnership with Jobcentre Plus and provides a recruitment service and bespoke facilities for employers wishing to recruit local people free of charge. I also currently have responsibility for raising apprenticeship awareness for businesses in Manchester.I was responsible for the design and pilot of the Apprentice Ambassador scheme which I rolled out across Greater Manchester. MY Future was also a programme I designed and project managed up until leaving Manchester City Council.
