As part of the Applied Intelligence team in KL, my role focuses on interpreting andleveraging on data to improve the performance of clients. I act as a bridge betweenthe data scientists who are more technical, and the clients from the business-side. Some of my experiences are highlighted below.• Managed a team of 30 people in data extraction efforts for a leading Malaysian Oil& Gas Producer• Built data visualization dashboards on Tableau for a leading Malaysian Oil & GasProducer. This dashboard visualized oil processing-related information, used byplant engineers to ensure optimal performance at oil terminals and to visualize dataon well cost variances and predictions based on historical drilling activities to beused by management for budget planning and to monitor costs.• Part of a digital foundation team, which was solutioning a data migration activityfrom on-premise to cloud for a leading Malaysian Oil & Gas Producer. Wasdirectly involved in developing the technical architecture for the cloud solution.• Involved in a business development proposal for a large Malaysian electric utilitycompany. The proposal was centered around Customer Analytics, aiming to buildpredictive and clustering models which would enable the client to enter thecustomer retail market.• Performed customer segmentation, propensity and churn prediction modelingfor a leading Malaysian telco using SAP Predictive Analytics. Implementedthese models which were used to prioritize targeting of customers forcampaigns and improve retention campaign effectiveness.• Developed a trigger analysis, customer base analysis & profiling for a leadingMalaysian telco.• Chaired & managed weekly insight generation meetings for a leading Malaysian telco. Responsible for analyzing attributes based on internal & external data, to build detailed subscriber profiles and identify resulting insights from profiles, to be converted into potential incremental revenue or churn management strategies.
