I’m a firm believer that everyone in an organization should be working hard toward similar goals, not just individually, but as an organization. I love that HR can be the catalyst and bridge between management and workers to help both come together for a common purpose.My guiding principles are kindness and fairness. I believe everyone deserves to be listened to and heard. I believe in treating people fairly while working to find solutions that benefit as many people as possible. That means looking for compromises based on everyone’s needs with the understanding that not every solution will please everyone.I’ve learned not to let perfect be an enemy of the good. Organizations are made of people who have an infinite number of agendas, ideas, goals, habits, personalities, etc. Keeping an open mind and staying flexible gives us our best chance at achieving common goals. Listening is key.I believe having a creative mindset brings an ability to think innovatively. I prefer to see possibilities instead of parameters and challenges instead of obstacles.
