Being influenced at an early age by my grandfather who was an orphan with a 6th grade education, I developed a curiosity about life that pushed me into science-based businesses and strengthened my faith in things and people. He approached life always asking “why” and “how”, and even with limited formal education he built a machine and electronics shop that included specialized fan motors built from scratch for the first rockets that NASA put into space.
