Serve as Deputy to the Commander providing logistical support throughout the entire European theater. Assist, train, and advise units in the theater via 95 highly skilled technical representatives and analyze readiness factors, logistical pipeline delays, and manufacturing defects and report to Army Materiel Command.

Serve as Deputy to the Commander, Army Field Support Battalion - Africa, assume full responsibility in the absence of the Commander. I lead a diverse work force of an organization of nearly 220 employees in Italy an operating budget of $42 million. I supervise all internal controls, readiness support issues, program oversight, procurements, operational coordination, employee relations issues, fiscal controls, oversight of all logistical issues. I lead people in the pursuit of excellence by directly supervising 3 Division Chiefs and 7 principal staff sections fostering high cooperation, high morale, results driven, cost efficiency and powerful coalitions within the organization. I provide leadership, direction, focus and vision in order to fulfill the command’s mission. I conceive, recommend and direct Lean and Six Sigma studies and Cost Benefit Analysis studies to continually improve the operation. I use my technical ability, leadership drive, and business acumen to develop, define and modify research and/or programmatic objectives, and devise innovative ways to solve challenges of major importance to the organization. I continually develop, direct, and modify organizational structure to meet mission dynamics, set priorities and manage the mission workload. I serve as the Lean and Six Sigma (LSS) Deployment Director for the command and facilitate the LSS program and coordinate implementation of process improvements, provide leadership and vision for the integration of LSS throughout the organization and set program objectives. As the senior Army Corps Civilian I evaluate all employee performance, serve as the hiring official for all selections, and make recommendations for appointments, promotions or reassignments. I identify training needs and conduct periodic reviews of positions for adequacy, currency and overall position structure. I ensure EO/EEO principles are adhered to throughout the organization.

Directs the National Institutes of Health's Supply Chain for supplies and materials while leading 23 Federal Employees and 19 contractors in providing optimal supply support to the research community. Responsible for all matters relating to supply chain management in support of the National Institutes of Health's 27 research institutes and the Office of the Director. Directs and manages the inventory acquisition, control, and distribution of a broad range of supplies and materials from basic office supplies to biomedical research, laboratory, chemicals, reagents, general and medical supplies that are critical to efficient operations, patient care and medical research protocols. In addition to inventory management functions I also oversee a 150,000 square foot distribution center and 2 self-service retail stores on the main NIH research campus with annual sales that exceed $26 Million. I perform liaison among the partners of the NIH supply chain which includes customers, manufacturers, vendors and distributors in support of ground breaking national medical research. I serve as the ISO-9001:2008 management representative, trainer, and promoter of the ISO system and maintain certification. I directly manage the marketing efforts which include advertising, promoting and branding efforts of our services and products and interact with over 200 vendors and manufacturers. I conduct various Voice of the Customer events, such the Vendor Townhalls, Vendor Showcases, and Product Advisory Councils and Supply Chain Advisory Council. I perform all budgetary oversight for an annual budget of over $24 Million and direct actions to recoup funds, defray costs, and negotiate with vendors on pricing of goods. I lead the activity in all continuous improvement initiatives by using Lean and Six Sigma principles and practices and achieved and maintained a 75% of all personnel are Green Belt certified.
