At Sizzle I had the opportunity to spearhead design and development of a new product that provided a digital marketing solution to an issue that recruiters faced with low candidate engagement. In addition to managing sales staff, our CTO, and an intern team, I also led contract negotiations and investor meetings.Generating vision, excitement, and buy-in was key in this role as was mitigating the challenges inherent in developing new products and managing a creative team. Some big wins and lessons here include:✔ Co-Founded, built and led a team of 15 people to launch digital marketing consulting agency✔ Increased clients' engagement rate 1200x by pivoting from landing pages to automated job description videos✔ Listening to user need. I drastically improved sales and usage by refining technical processes to streamline and simplify the user experience.

Almost directly after graduation I leveraged a win at a Vanderbilt pitch competition to secure funding in GiftBox, a company focused on the personalization of digital gift giving. We ultimately pivoted this company into SizzleDuring this time GiveToken was nominated by Red Herring for Top 100 Most Innovative Startups in North America.

This internship experience allowed for a depth and breadth of experience including stress testing of a derivatives portfolio, creating an FX derivative arbitrage calculator, as well as automating ad hoc process and data mining chores through Visual Basic and SQL.

While completing this internship I developed an algorithm using Excel, Visual Basic, and Bloomberg’s Swap Calculator that allowed customer swaps to be valued at different amortization rates and estimate the max credit exposure of the given swap.
