As Parts Director my team ran a multi million dollar business. My responsibilities included achieving overall sales, profit and Customer Satisfaction through planning, organizing, motivating, and training department staff. With proper use of purchasing procedures, inventory control, Security, pricing,displaying and advertisement. I am a leader by example following the Dealerships Mission Statement. Responsibilities included; developing monthly and yearly forecasts for department sales, grosses, expenses, in addition, to profits. My experiences have made me a good communicator to customers, employees and fellow Managers. I have strong retail and wholesale abilities and work well together with ASM's and the Service Manager to provide on time parts availably to our shop personnel. I was responsible for maintaining effective inventory control using dealerships automated inventory Control system, which was Reynolds and Reynolds. I was Systems Administrator for Toyota's AS400. I controlled three separate inventories, which was Purchased from multiple suppliers and consisted over 125,000 part numbers and over $400,000 of the Company's capitol. I updated the system on a monthly basis and kept our EPC's and all PC's in working order. I have strong skills using Micro Cat and Nissan Fast system and Microsoft Office. I understand and adhere to department's compliance on all manufactures policies and procedures. I know and abide by all federal and local laws, which govern motor vehicle repair and kept informed on industry standards and new legislation. Included in my job was maintaining warehouse in a clean and safe working facility. I was responsible for receiving and shipping of products. I was responsible for damage, missing, and miss-packaged claims of all freight following up to be sure all credits were received. In addition, I was in control of placement and providing location of products in the computer as well as in the storage area.
