A technical trainer with a progressive career path of working as a technical process expert handling and facilitating training for new and seasoned technicians within the automotive glazing industry. Over the last 28 years, I have worked with BelronUK, Autoglass and have held various roles right from being a technician, supervisor, and operational support to a training facilitator covering the whole of Scotland. With a unique combination of technical expertise and trainer capabilities, I have made significant contributions in handling the wide range of business aspects such as equipment/ device testing, standard creation, and compliance, identifying the training needs and delivering the appropriate programs to improve efficiencies. Possessing an in-depth understanding of the Health and Safety hazards that exist in the industry, I have been instrumental in laying down the processes and procedures as well as monitoring the adherence across locations. Possessing the enthusiasm and passion for developing individuals and creating a safe working environment, have continually worked towards upgrading the existing systems to new technologies/ products/ processes. With superior technical and interpersonal skills have been part of assessments for external industry bodies to streamline the standard working procedures.
