I have undertaken various freelance projects, most notably as a freelance Voice Over, working mostly in the corporate, e-learning and explainer video space. I take on the role of voice over as well as the technical role of sound engineer, editing and processing and mastering the audio.This role has also given me the opportunity to develop many business skills; networking and self-sourcing work, developing marketing strategies, and maintaining client relationships. It has been an amazing creative outlet, requiring me to design and create media for marketing projects and my website, including graphics, logos, music, scripts, and animations.Outside of Voice Over, I have also taken time to manage a rental property, and have been involved in the investment space, mostly dealing with stocks & shares.During this period I have spent a significant amount of time retraining in Programming, Data Science and Machine Learning.

As part of the pick up systems team, I was responsible for optimising pick up performance of the floor tools/cleaner heads through mechanical design, scientific analysis and iterative testing.In this role it was my responsibility to ensure targets were met and products performed to specification, and were delivered on time.Further to this core duty, I would also strive to improve the quality of engineering at the company, ensuring that testing and analysis happened as accurately as possible in a lean environment.Optimisation of the products involves both a core of solid and fluid mechanics, balancing parameters such as power output of the brush bar, pressures, volumetric flow rates, push forces etc.I use combination of CAD software with 3D printing, and workshop skills to design parts, make modifications, and perform scientific analysis and organisation of results using packages such as LabVIEW, Excel (utilising VBA scripting), Diadem.
