I lead a development team responsible for the general architecture and development and support of all software for Surgical Notes. I have redesigned ScanChart (Client Based Web Application) so that installations are plug and play from a configuration standpoint, and no longer require interaction from the development group. This was accomplished by standardizing all the interface touch points, making them easily configurable and consistent across all customer facilities. Extensive logging was added to aid in diagnostics. I also developed a distribution model used to update client machines with software updates. Internal services have been updated with logging and performance enhancements. Other projects include an IPhone/IPad application which integrates with our system for schedules and dictations. I Developed software which integrates with a camera pen which allows for automatic updates to printed forms in the system so that documents are no longer require scanning after they are filled out. Currently we are diligently working towards rewriting older application, and enhancing existing systems as required.In addition to the development role, I also play a significant role in infrastructure planning in regards to system servers, and network configurations.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

I was responsible for building a development team in the Dallas office. I built my development team to 12 developers. I worked with the business owners to prioritize projects and identify business requirements. I was responsible for project scheduling and resource management. By using source control and work flow management software packages (MKS and Team Foundation Server), I developed our software migration path for multiple projects and maintenance releases. I also worked with my development team to help increase their skills by teaching proper coding techniques which included coding standards and flexible coding techniques. In addition to being the hiring manager, I also took on the role as enterprise architect where I oversaw the rebuilding of our agent facing web site, and the supporting applications. I developed an architectural roadmap which took our existing application challenges, and addressed them in a modular approach which allowed my development team to not only address existing issues, but to take on new states, rate changes, enhancements, and bug corrections.

• Responsible for the design of reusable code modules, in the area of Business Intelligence. • Assigned to handle the majority of their largest clients, including Wal-Mart, Saks Fifth Avenue, Academy Sports, Citizens Telecommunications, Big Lots, CVS Pharmacy. • Solutions 2004-Chicago. I gave a presentation which was attended by approximately 250 guest, and generated significant interest and sales at our booth. The presentation was centered around an Essbase scripting methodology I developed while working at Saks, which allowed them to eliminate over 600 scripts used in their planning process.
