Making preparations before work begins on site, including communications with the public, architects and engineers. I was also in charge of keeping track of progress and ensuring that projects were on time and kept to budget.Duties:• In charge of controlling the project budget for materials & manpower and maintaining accurate records.• Daily management of numerous sub-contractors• Ensuring that all quality control, environmental and health & safety requirements was met• Managing daily operations and plan the use of materials and human resources• Providing independent, professional advice and guidance to third parties• To plan detailed site activities including weekly meetings with sub-contractors, set targets and work to maintain programmed completion dates.• Estimated material, construction and labour costs as well as project timescales• Directed and supervised workers
