As a bus driver for 10 years I was at the forefront of customer service and one of the many faces of Nottingham City Transport. I was responsible for the management and maintenance of my vehicle as well as the extremely important responsibility of safely transporting the people of Nottingham at all hours of the day. My ability to work as a member of a professional team, with customer service at the heart of what we delivered, coupled with my ability to work solo to safely manage and transport members of the public means I developed multiple communication and personal skills, so much so that I won a seasonal award for the best Bus Driver of the company.

As a member of the Butchery Department at Morrisons supermarket I was a key member of the team responsible for the cleanliness of the department, the safe and meticulous packing of meat produce, the preparation and handling of all meat to be sold and most importantly at the front of house assisting customers with their purchase of the products and any enquiries they may have had. This was when I first developed my thirst for working with the public and providing quality customer service. My hard work and dedication to this job and as a member of the team was noticed by the Butchery Manager who often delegated the responsibility of managing the department by myself.
