In my current role as Broker Assurance Analyst at Fintelligence, an aggregator for Asset Finance brokers, I assist to co-ordinate, oversee and action the compliance-related needs of Credit Representatives and Credit Licensees of the Fintelligence aggregation business with the goal of ensuring industry best-practice compliance standards within the Fintelligence aggregation network. This is actioned through maintaining an expert, but practical knowledge, of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act and ensuring the actions of staff and authorised credit representatives under the Fintelligence Credit Licence meet our internal expectations and the regulatory requirements of ASIC and the NCCP Act.. Also providing ad-hoc guidance and support to the aggregation network of independent broker firms, and compliance support to Credit Licence holders who separately engage Fintelligence to provide an extended compliance support package through regular lender application compliance reviews, provision and maintenance of their information within the ASIC database and updating them on changes to their core licensing obligations.My previous finance roles included Compliance and Office Manager and Subject Matter Expert within a mortgage broker operation, co-ordinator of the mortgage applications for mortgage brokers, Learning and Development Officer for Westpac’s loan centres in Victoria and South Australia, Assistant Account Manager at Westpac Private Bank, preparation of security documentation for secured loans and varied front and back office operations in branches.Through these roles I was able to demonstrate my strengths of managing finance, office administration tasks, attention to detail, creating plans and strategies and training others within a team and across an organisation.
