First Forefront Identity Manager 2010 (FIM) instance use to recreate a simulated General Motors infrastructure (using real extracted GM AD data) down to the organizational unit (OU), user objects and attributes (name, phone number), groups, Groups Policy Objects (GPO’s), etc. The end results have been the ability to substantially reduce the risk factors and time in moving proof of concept projects into production or into the final review process by the CTO and CIO.
