The role will provide the technical interface for the Network Management Centre (NMC), NM Security and nbn SEO teams to resolve complex incidents or address Security vulnerabilities within the defined service level targets. The role will support the setup and approval of equipment related services contracts with Network, EMS and Security System vendors. The role will drive Network, System and Security vendors to resolve complex problems within defined KPIs and set & track vendor progress for improvement initiatives when performance is not met.Although a leadership role, it is expected the applicant has technical experience and in-depth knowledge of Server hardware, Operating Systems, Application / Database cluster setups, Element Management System configuration and Network Security.The role will support the establishment of the network assurance road map for EMS with Engineering counterparts plus promote enhanced network features/capability to support the Network Operation.This role will also be responsible for the overall secure operations of the AN EMS Applications and OS

The Technology Manager – Tier 3 Element Management Systems is accountable for the development and driving technical quality of the solutions delivered by Engineering and Design, Product Engineering and the Service Assurance and Network Assurance teams to NBN Co customers. The role is considered to possess the highest level of operational and technical expertise in NBN Co. The Technology Manager role provides leadership and mentoring to other Technical Specialists within the team and acts as an escalation point for technical issues as required.
