Consultant DBA, assigned to the Origin team, to provide upgrade assistance to Origin customer touplift their Oracle stack to EBS 12.2.10. Involves Planning resources, requirements working withThird party suppliers and Police force personnel to enable Dba’s to patch the Full Oracle Ebis stackboth on-premise and in third party clouds.

Working within the Oracle Dba team, I am currently working on the initial investigation and planningof the migration and re platforming of the in house Oracle databases and related technologies to theoracle cloud. Identifying best practices for database migration and deployment to OCI. I’m also writing code to help the automation of cloning the database and code deployments during the monthly releases.

Working within the Professional services team at Navisite/ prevoulsy Clckwrk.I have been involved in Architecting/Building/Migrating and Supporting multiple Blue Chip customers workloads into the AWS cloud, with both Oracle running on Ec2 and Oracle RDS.During migrations, I've been involved at the Oracle and Aws level using multiple AWS technologies to migrate and manage Oracle database in AWS,Technologies included: Ec2, RDS, Ebs, Efs, S3, Route 53, IAM, cloud formation, Snowball, Cloud Endure. My last project implementation involved working with AWS Proserve and AMS to provision an Obiee 12c and odi re-implementation, with the databases running on Ec2 using ASM and provisioned Iops for performance. Post Go-live I worked within the clients Production Support team to enable the smooth transition, updating the policies and procedures around the AWS/AMS service.I have also gained valuable knowledge in automation of oracle installs using both puppet and ansible, whilst working alongside the AWS cloud dev ops team.

Valued member of the Oracle Database services team at Recentric (Previously Maxima)Providing day to day support for multiple Oracle E-business suite and Oracle database clients both on premise and in Redcentric’s OCI and Vmware cloud.Including Architecture design, installations, upgrades, patching and rapid cloning.BAU support including raising SR’s with oracle support and dealing with functional, developersand end users. Working with infrastructure and networks to design and build cloud dbaassolutions within Redcentric’s OVM and Vmware platforms utilising IBM Blades and 3par.Assisting with diagnosing network and storage related issues.Last Project involved Migration of a Large Oracle Database from Aix to Linux into Redcentric’s Cloud. Designed over a two phases. Phase one included developing the migration solution, along with infrastructure team, to move a san with 13tb backup to build a data guarded database. The Database was then kept in sync until data center relocation using Data Guard. Second phase involved Endian converting the data from the Aix to Linux platform using Rman transportable tablespaces and san snapshot technology.
