Gary Pogue Email and Phone Number
My experiences in education have been wide and diverse. I have experience working in remote rural schools and large city school districts that have provided me with the leadership skills to be successful in a diverse multi-cultural and socio-economic environment. In my experience as a guidance counselor, site administration, and district coordinator I have provided open communication in my educational and management leadership skills. With this, I am able to effectively serve as a leader/liaison to students, parents, schools, staff, and outside agencies regarding instructional resources and activities. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated integrity and honesty. In addition, I have maintained a sense of humor which is often required for today’s school leaders. I am known as a “people person” with a dedication to my students. I believe passionately in making sure the job is done correctly, but also always with a focus of being fair and true to my students and staff. My life is about making my students better people in all aspects of their lives. Education is a crucial time to help students make good decisions that will have an impact on the rest of their lives. As an educational leader I have the ability to motivate students, teachers and staff to make a positive change in a school.
