Gary provides Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Mission Package, Ship Integration and Testing (SI&T) support as a Senior Project Analyst with Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Company. Transitioned from the US Navy after serving his country for 26 years, he was commissioned through the Limited Duty Officer Program.In the Navy, LT Pray had a rewarding and varied career, serving afloat aboard a multiple of ships to include a cruiser, destroyer and an amphibious warship as Electronics Material Officer (EMO). He commissioned the Littoral Combat Ship Class squadron (LCS Classron) as N6. He ultimately served as the FIFTH FLEET Force EMO in COMUSNAVCENT Manama Bahrain prior to his last tour at the Center for Surface Combat System (CSCS) Det West in San Diego where it all began. His final job in the Navy, as CSCS Electronics Training Head, he managed 75 military Electronic Technicians and 10 civilian instructors who instructed 38 training courses covering all areas of electronic repair ensuring our technicians were trained to sustain critical readiness of fleet systems. He was fortunate to serve as Electronics Material Officer (EMO) onboard USS BUNKER HILL while they operated as the Air Defense Commander for the CONSTELLATION (CVN 64) Strike Group supporting combat operations during the opening phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He operated as Anti-Air Warfare Coordinator/ Whiskey. Gary has Master of Arts in Teaching degree, specialization in Teacher Leadership through National University School of Education and a BS in Workforce Education though Southern Illinois university of Carbondale with emphasis in Training.
