Started working life as a Royal Marines Commando, serving firstly in a fighting company then specialising as a vehicle mechanic. Joined the family company at Ellrod at the age of 27 as a crane mechanic/ erector. During my 26 years, I gained valuable site experience in all aspects of steel erecting. and eventually became a director, training officer/ Company Sec.dealing with H&S, RAM,s lift plans ect.you could say "jack of all trades" I have been involved in many high profiled projects, too many to name but regard the New York stadium in Rotherham as 1 of the most enjoyable, overseeing 5 gangs and lining all the steel and precast. I formed my own company in 2014, initially working primarily within the car plant industry installing internal steelwork. It was a very challenging environment but then I,ve always thrived on a challenge. for the last 3 years have been working on sites throughout the UK. focusing on small main frame, secondary steelwork and site wrap up/engineering and welding.
