 To carry out all administration tasks within Babcock International Group, Marine Division and Logistics. Responsible for ordering all parts required through MOD in-house purchasing system for ships and submarines. These could range from nuts & bolts, washers to submarine/ship specific parts. Adhering to all company policies, processes and approved suppliers when ordering parts and ensuring that correct number of part are ordered (e.g. for every part ordered required a further 2 for back up on the vessel) Managing timelines and ensuring timescales are adhered to by suppliers to meet ship/sub requirements. Sourcing out of the ordinary parts and locating them worldwide and arranging best delivery methods to meet timescales and budgets. Managing suppliers and third parties. Working to monthly KPIs to ensure resources are in place on time to ensure a reasonable standard. Ensuring payments to suppliers are met in a timely fashion to meet KPIs. Managing departmental loss.  Dealing on a daily basis with Internal and External customers, fully focused on achieving results.  Liaising with external contractors and MOD Commodity Managers on the speedy return of MOD equipment back into the repair loop. This enables serviceable stock to be put back on the shelf and made available for use.  Helping to maintain the Logistics Return Store KPI while regularly investigating and processing potential discrepancies and abatements. Maintaining a variety of data bases to enable the production of management information on a monthly basis. Fully customer focused, regularly dealing with day to day problems with issues regarding the return of material through naval, civilian and Commodity Manager Contacts. Main focal point for reporting all Logistics IT problems.

I also work with spreadsheets detailing all relevant information for company usage. I liaise with drivers and assist them with any problems that may occur with a delivery. Dealing with key clients such as Aggreko, FMC Technologies and General Electric. Slinging, Rigging various sizes and weights of equipment being loaded for transportation to various parts of the world.

Linwood

Main duties included data input and output of all stock from the warehouse. Cycle counts of all the warehouses in the Malcolm distribution, dealing with drivers arriving in with new stock. Dealing with the Rockware and Allied Glass Account making sure the customers were happy and maintaining good customer relations. I liaised with drivers to advise directly where goods should be positioned on site. Loading and unloading of all vehicles that came onsite.
