My responsibilities include…

Did initial planning, staffing and startup management for a system to create products from the NPP satellite for the National Weather Service. Led the project through its System Requirements Revies, Preliminary Design Review, and Critical Design Review.

Served as a member of the core team developing a $150 million proposal for a NASA contract. Served as a member of the core team performing pre-award startup planning in anticipation of contract award. Developed an Earned Value Management System implementation plan for U.S. Government Solutions, a $2 billion yearly EDS business unit.

Raytheon IIS: Managed a staff of 200+ professionals planning, developing, testing, deployment, startup, transition to operations, operations, maintenance and sustaining engineering of a large complex system to receive, process, distribute and archive Earth satellite imagery at five U.S. sites. At the time, this was the largest unclassified data processing system in the world.Raytheon IDS: Served as coach, mentor, trainer and workshop facilitator to Program Management teams during startup of multiple programs from $5 million to $1.9 billion. Served as team leader to conduct Program Independent Assessments and Integrated Baseline Reviews on critical or troubled programs worldwide.Instructed at the Raytheon Program Management College in Risk and Opportunity Management, Program Startup Management, and Earned Value Management.
