As an experienced Social Impact designer and architect, with more than 30 years' experience, I have worked across multiple sectors finding award winning innovative ways to deliver positive social impact. At Community Shop, I have the honour of working with a team that is dedicated to providing people and communities with the support they need to become stronger individuals and more confident communities. Community Shop is the UK’s first social supermarket and supports tens of thousands of families across the UK to live better. We do this by creating something better than simply giving out food; we provide a hand up, not a hand out.Dignified access to affordable quality food is combined with personal development programmes that deliver a long-lasting and sustainable solution to the problem of food insecurity.With the help and support of our partners, we use the power of surplus food to create thriving social hubs across the country to create lasting, positive change.This is my passion and I would love to work with you.
