Six Sigma Process Improvement Consultant (own company).Numerous assignments including:A multi month process efficiency program for Virgin Money, picking up a stalled project to deliver over 30 key improvements to automate activities and provide enhanced customer contact capability.A significant supply chain project for Tesco, one of the largest supermarket groups in the UK, to understand and eliminate the need for 3 years of successive product recalls with a particular product line.

Various senior roles:Director of New Client Integration - driving a change culture through customer focus and the continuous improvement culture through a lean six sigma framework. Lead a team of 80 staff using a value stream approach to on-board existing portfolios of customer mortgages or customer savings accounts.Site Director of Operations - lead a financial services operations site of >300 people, delivering all of the transactional and telephony activities for multiple clients representing a customer base of around 250,000.Director of Financial Control - turned around a team where right first time performance was at 1 sigma (30%) into an award winning team within 12 months at 4 sigma (99.4%)

David Brown Engineering manufactured and installed industrial gears - ranging in size from the large gearboxes in an aircraft carrier to drive the propellors to gearboxes to open solar arrays in a satellite.Started as a Finance Manager in 1999 - traditional management accounting role for 2 companies.In 2002 moved into a projects accountant role incl. strategic outsourcing projects in Asia.In 2003/4 delivered the Sarbanes Oxley act requirements as an internal controls manager - 15 countries.In 2004 trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt mastering Lean, DMAIC and DFSS.In 2006 I was a Business Manager of a Service & Repair team. My final role in 2007 was as a Project Manager of our growing China supply chain.
