In addition, I'm working to create more level boarding and setback level boarding opportunities at stations around the nation to ensure passengers with a disability have proper access to public rail transportation and the Amtrak system in transformed into a system that is truly accessible and inclusive for all passengers, including passengers who have a disability. Also working to identify existing rail car non-compliance and develop proposed solutions for existing passenger fleet; regional, Acela and long distance trains.Supporting DOT's efforts on the technical committee to advance new accessible rail car designs for both single level and bi-level passenger rail cars. I am also helping to identify website and app deficiencies and develop solutions to ensure people with sensory disabilities have the same opportunity to benefit from the goods and services offered by Amtrak.I am also responsible to develop each FY ADA plan and the multiple year ADA strategic plans such as; the FY16-FY20 five year strategic plan.
