Sr. Piping Design Lead, Project Engineer
CurrentMore than 30 years of experience in the petroleum, chemical, gas transmission pipelines and polymer industries. I have Designed, been the Lead and/or Project Engineer for systems including bulk materials, polymer pellets, air, steam, acids, caustic, hazardous materials, many types of chemicals, crude oil storage and refining, gas pipelines with pig launchers and metering stations, brine production and many others. These projects were both new construction and retrofit, most of which included producing the materials specifications, materials ordering, writing of the labor contracts, development of departmental pipe support standard details and pipe specifications, performing piping stress analysis and the engineering contact during construction. There have been a a number of letters written recognizing my capabilities and willingness to excel. As Project Engineer I have maintained schedules, budgets and subcontracts associated tasks.The past fifteen years have given me experience with AutoCAD, 2D and 3D, Bentley 3D Auto Plant and have managed a project using Smart Plant 3D, Microstation, PDS.I have successfully managed projects from $5 to $150 million for Chevron, Rhone Poulenc, Dow Chemical, Exxon/Mobil and others. Qualified as an instructor and lead for modular designed projects.
