I have been in the mortgage business for over 35 years with most of that time in management capacity but I have also originated, processed, underwrote loans, and participated in servicing including escrow analysis and many other ealry mortgage learning duties.I have started from scratch three highly successful mortgage operations for community banks and have experience in recruiting, underwriting, secondary market operations, profitability, customer service, and sales.My accomplishements include:1983- Became an approved FHA Direct Endorsement Underwriter1984- Participated on a panel discussion for the Nebraaska Realtors Convention 1986- Was appointed as an instructor for Platte Community College for Real Estate Principals, Practices, and Finance.1987- Served a two-year term for Nebraska on the Board of Directors for the Mid-West Savings Conference.1989-1995- Served on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Mortgage Association and was active on the FHA/VA liaison committee. I served as Secretary, Treasurer, Second Vice President, and First Vice President. During this time I also assisted with the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority liasion lender work group.1995- Served as President of the Nebraska Mortgage Association. I provided a news network and led a successful effort in establishing a proclamation with the Mortgage Bankers Association of America establishing April as National Homebuying Month.I have been involved locally:American Cancer SocietyYouth soccer coach and team parentYMCA youth basketball coachUnited Way Business VolunteerMember First United Methodist Church serving on the Finance Committee, Board of Trustees, and Nominations Committee.I have served on several local Realtor panel discussions and committees.
