Registered Architect in Missouri with forty years of experience in all phases of a variety of project types, including Higher Education Science Buildings, Recreation Facilities, Student Activity Centers, Commercial Office Buildings, Banks, Municipal Recreational Facilities, Justice Facilities and Nursing Homes. Over the last several years, I have enjoyed working on Science Buildings and benefited from those experiences as well as a weeklong lab design course at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in coordination with MIT in Boston, MA.My most recent local projects include the St. Louis University ISE building and the St. Joseph’s Academy renovation of Science and Art classrooms where I was Project Architect. I was involved in early planning/ client meetings, end user programming, documentation, and code analysis. I specified all fume hoods, fittings, sinks, and casework for St. Joseph’s Academy. During both jobs I was heavily involved in coordinating with the Design Build teams.I produce all my work in Revit, and I am a huge proponent of Enscape as a design tool to walk Owners through a project, as well as reviewing the team’s progress and coordination between disciplines. Bluebeam is an essential tool for review, coordination, and progress updates. It is a great way to communicate with contractors and reviewing shop drawings.
